Technical Writer Co-op (AI)

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid schedule with Tuesday–Thursday in the Yaletown head office and Monday–Friday working from home.

Salary: CAD 3,600–4,500 per month

What you will do

• Create user documentation explaining product features and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with product requirements and release timelines.
• Interview subject matter experts and translate technical information into useful documentation.
• Create visuals that help users understand complex material.
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, concision, and compliance with internal style guidelines.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience writing for different audiences, including technical and non-technical readers.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn complex concepts quickly.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of documentation principles and processes such as single sourcing.

Nice to have

• Experience with MadCap Flare or similar XML authoring tools.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or video editing software.
