What you will do

• Drive and monitor sales, profit, and performance goals while managing operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, ensuring efficient operations, quality standards, and compliance with company policies.
• Supervise, motivate, and coach opticians, customer-lens sales associates, and reception staff where applicable.
• Deliver strong customer service and execute merchandising, pricing promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, retention, and development of store associates.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Optical license required as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Knowledge of store operations, organizational planning, financial reports, and problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
