What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pretest room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and perform pre-screening and testing before the doctor examination.
• Complete required paperwork, review prescriptions and patient information, and identify special needs.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings for eligible patients.
• Consult with the optician, doctor, or retail management when necessary.
• Maintain both doctor and pretest equipment.

Requirements

• Previous retail or optical experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge and understand ocular terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Ability to provide customers with clear and concise instructions.
• Detail-oriented approach and professional attitude and appearance.
