What you will do

• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain a professional doctor’s office and pre-test room.
• Explain preliminary examinations and complete required patient paperwork.
• Perform exam pre-screening and testing before the doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings for eligible patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, identify special needs, and consult with the optician, doctor, or retail management when needed.
• Maintain doctor and pre-test equipment and ensure it is properly functioning.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge, terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Ability to give customers clear and concise instructions.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and appearance.

Nice to have

• Previous retail or optical experience.
