FP&A and Capital Markets Intern (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid at the downtown Chicago HQ, with in-office attendance twice per week. Candidates must be local or able to relocate independently; relocation assistance is not provided.

Internship period: May–August 2027. Schedule: 40 hours per week.

hirify.global provides digital banking, lending, underwriting, fraud detection, and analytics products through its CreditNinja, NinjaCard, and Edge brands, with a focus on consumer finance in the US.

What you will do

• Support capital markets activities covering corporate funding, liquidity, warehouse facilities, private financings, and securitizations.
• Assist with structuring, negotiation, legal document review, and execution of financing transactions.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting for executive decision-making.
• Support budget planning and monitoring, including the creation and maintenance of product and financial models.
• Track real-time loan portfolio performance using SQL-based data visualization tools.
• Provide financial and analytical support to Operations, Product, Risk, Technology, FP&A, and Capital Markets.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and complete work through to presentation.
• Ability to present analytical conclusions to senior management in an organized and thoughtful manner.
• Availability for a 40-hour-per-week hybrid internship in Chicago from May through August 2027.
