Senior Epic Administrator (Epic)

Location: Detroit, Michigan / Remote in EST

What you will do

• Monitor new Epic security functionality across supported applications.
• Coordinate security activities across physical security, infrastructure, and Epic application teams.
• Design system-level access with application coordinators and analysts, including security classifications and Epic menus.
• Manage user authorization, passwords, remote access, access removal, and security procedures.
• Create business application test scenarios and plans, and participate in technical reviews to validate intended changes.
• Provide production support, escalation response, root cause analysis, and application resolution.

Requirements

• Seven years of applicable work experience.
• Experience with at least two major Epic implementations or upgrades.
• Experience documenting business requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an analytical, problem-solving environment.
• Ability to work remotely during EST hours or from the Detroit, Michigan area.

Nice to have

• Five years of applicable experience in a healthcare setting.
