Salary: $184,900–$250,200 annually in Seattle; $212,700–$287,700 annually in San Francisco; $203,400–$275,200 annually in New York

What you will do

• Set the strategic vision and roadmap for the Android Platform team.
• Lead development of core tools, services, and frameworks for hirify.global’s Android platform.
• Partner with product management, the iOS Platform team, designers, and engineering leaders to shape mobile platform strategy.
• Improve feature delivery speed through a first-class developer experience.
• Drive improvements in software development processes, metrics, testing, quality, performance, and operational excellence.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineers while fostering collaboration and resolving complex challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android applications at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineering leaders in cross-functional groups.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React Native or equivalent mobile web technology.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
