Sr. Engineering Manager, SDET (AI)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $225,000–$270,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own quality strategy across hirify.global products and communicate quality metrics for data-driven roadmap prioritization.
• Lead improvements in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and escape-rate reduction.
• Optimize end-to-end quality pipelines and remove bottlenecks affecting engineering teams and agentic workflows.
• Run failure analysis to close testing gaps identified in customer deployments.
• Partner with product management and engineering managers to establish quality standards from the beginning of the development lifecycle.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of SDETs focused on agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience establishing testing strategies and quality metrics for SaaS and customer-managed products.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and the changes required for agentic development.
• Expertise in test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
