Intern - Maintenance Engineer (Studying Bachelor or Master's Degree) (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Conduct a defined engineering or process improvement project with clear deliverables.
• Apply graduate-level engineering knowledge to manufacturing challenges in slider and HGA operations.
• Perform data analysis, technical documentation, and experiment design with guidance from a senior engineer mentor.
• Present findings to the engineering team at the project midpoint and conclusion.
• Contribute technical insights that can be applied after the internship.
• Participate in structured learning sessions, assessments, and development discussions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• Completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline.
• Strong academic record with an active thesis or research project.
• Available for a structured 3–6 month onsite internship in Thailand.
• Advanced technical problem-solving, research, project management, and collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Research or thesis experience in manufacturing, materials, process optimization, or precision engineering.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, or process simulation.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or quality engineering methodologies.
• Industry internship or research collaboration with a manufacturing company.
• Data analysis proficiency in Minitab, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent tools.
