Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Walmart U.S. Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Analyze financial and business data to identify performance trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Develop predictive models and scenario analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with organizational objectives.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Improve financial processes through automation, data governance, and scalable reporting tools while overseeing month-end close activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related area plus 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
• Experience with predictive analytics, financial modeling, and statistical techniques.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and automation tools.
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex financial insights clearly.
