Technology Engineer I VDI (Citrix)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States; predominantly in-office with hybrid flexibility

Salary: $94,400–$155,800 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentives

What you will do

• Analyze, design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise technology platforms and environments.
• Deliver and optimize virtual desktop and application services using Citrix platforms, Azure Virtual Desktop, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows supporting application deployment and operations.
• Investigate and resolve platform defects, incidents, integration issues, and major operational problems.
• Document platform configurations, integration points, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with software and infrastructure engineers to align application functionality, platform capabilities, and infrastructure performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience plus at least two years of technology or platform engineering experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Citrix CVAD, Citrix DaaS, and NetScaler ADC.
• Strong experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and hybrid cloud environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, hybrid AD, and Group Policy management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, incident management, and collaborative delivery skills.
