Manager - Energy Control Systems (SCADA)

Salary: $141,440–$176,800 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead 24x7x365 support for electric and gas energy control systems across multiple operating companies and locations.
• Develop and maintain multi-year technology plans, control center application architecture, project schedules, and budgets.
• Oversee SCADA, transmission and distribution management, gas control, network, server, storage, database, security, and related control center platforms.
• Manage application development, integration, maintenance, support, lifecycle management, and technical operations.
• Lead more than 30 internal and external resources, manage vendors, and oversee capital and operating expenditures exceeding $10 million.
• Ensure system performance, availability, recoverability, operational governance, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with technical or control system platforms in utilities, including transmission, distribution, or generation.
• Prior management, supervisory, or leadership experience; 3 years of technical resource or project management experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of utility regulatory requirements, including NERC CIP and PHMSA 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, relationship-building, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of electric and gas operations and related technology.
