TL;DR
Entry Level RF Engineer (Aerospace): Researching, designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF and mixed-signal communications hardware for defense and space applications with an accent on electromagnetics, RF and microwave circuits, product modernization, and systems analysis. Focus on supporting new product designs, developing test procedures, and verifying performance against customer, manufacturing, quality, and compliance requirements.

Location: Chandler, Arizona, United States; onsite work at the Chandler location

What you will do

  • Research, plan, design, and develop products for defense and space applications under close supervision.
  • Assist with new product designs, modernization, and upgrades while considering cost, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Support systems analysis and contribute to RF and mixed-signal communications hardware design.
  • Assist with system integration and testing to verify product performance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to test procedures and design compliance.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, with an M.S. preferred.
  • Completed coursework in Electromagnetics, RF and Microwave Circuits, Analog, and Mixed-Signal Circuit Design.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and communications, plus hands-on RF laboratory experience, is desirable.
  • Only U.S. persons will be considered where access to controlled data or information is required under ITAR.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and may be subject to a government security investigation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microwave Office, ADS, or HFSS simulation tools.
  • Hands-on experience handling RF equipment in a laboratory.
