Maintenance Millwright (Manufacturing)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; onsite at the Fibers manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission complex manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Work with drive systems, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, pipefitting, hydraulics, utilities, and steam systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce maintenance costs.
• Demonstrate precision alignment of production equipment and verify operation against manufacturer specifications.
• Perform basic SMAW and GMAW welding and operate machine-shop equipment such as mills, lathes, drill presses, iron workers, and hydraulic presses.
• Follow OSHA safety practices, personal protective equipment requirements, lockout-tagout procedures, and hirify.global quality and conduct policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years of recent experience in a heavy industrial setting; journeyman Millwright experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of precision measuring devices, including micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to pass a written Mechanical Aptitude Test and apply basic algebra, geometry, and measurement calculations.
• Eligible candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, qualifying temporary resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

• GTAW welding experience.
• Journeyman Millwright qualifications.
