Attorney | Personal Injury

Location: Full-time onsite at 535 5th Avenue, Suite 2600, New York, NY 10017, United States. Attorneys must work from the office and comply with firm attendance requirements.

Salary: USD 110,000–270,000 yearly, plus a non-recoverable draw, standard commission/bonus structure, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through pre-litigation, litigation, and resolution.
• Evaluate liability, insurance coverage, damages, and case value to develop case strategies.
• Develop pre-litigation cases, review demands, and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery for cases requiring litigation.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial, keep clients informed, and coordinate with support staff.

Requirements

• Active New York attorney license and membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Experience managing plaintiff personal injury cases in both pre-litigation and litigation.
• At least 3 years of personal injury or motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
• Experience with New York discovery, depositions, motion practice, claim evaluation, demands, and settlement negotiation.
• Employment requires verification of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
