Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics Intern (Pharmaceutical R&D)

Location: US sites in Spring House, Pennsylvania; Raritan and Titusville, New Jersey; Cambridge, Massachusetts; and La Jolla, California. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US for the entire internship period. Remote work flexibility may be available.

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour

What you will do

• Review clinical pharmacology and medical literature.
• Analyze pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, biomarker, preclinical, and clinical data.
• Support trial design and PK/PD model building and analysis.
• Develop quantitative methodologies including population PK/PD and quantitative systems pharmacology.
• Perform model-based meta-analysis and create advanced data visualizations such as RShiny applications.
• Apply machine learning to publicly reported and in-house data across immunology, oncology, neuroscience, cardiopulmonary, and metabolic disease programs.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university while pursuing an MS, PharmD, PhD, MD, or similar degree in a life sciences-related discipline.
• Computational proficiency with data analysis, modeling, and simulation tools such as NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, R, Python, or MATLAB.
• Availability to work full-time for at least 12 weeks between May and September 2027.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Permanent US work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
