Intern - Kite Development - Process Development (Vector Process Design) (Biotech)

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States; hybrid work at the designated site is required, and fully remote roles are not offered.

Salary: $19.00–$55.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with fill/finish process development experiments.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize experimental data using scientific and statistical tools.
• Investigate process performance, yield, and stability.
• Collaborate with Process Development, Analytical Development, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, study documentation, and a final internship presentation.
• Maintain laboratory records and follow applicable GMP and safety practices.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship.
• Must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's, master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. college or university, with continued full-time enrollment in the following fall semester.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without school or employer sponsorship.
• Must commit to a full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August and work at the designated site; relocation may be required.
• Preferred background includes undergraduate, graduate, PharmD, or PhD study, along with Microsoft Office proficiency and strong problem-solving, organization, and collaboration skills.
