Driver Supervisor (Transportation)

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 80,000–90,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise, manage, coach, and support a team of drivers.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, transportation safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate driver assignments, routes, deliveries, and dispatch activities to meet customer and operational requirements.
• Audit delivery and pickup routes and identify efficiency improvements without compromising safety or customer service.
• Monitor driver performance, conduct evaluations, and implement improvement plans when needed.
• Maintain records and reports covering driver activity, performance, incidents, vehicle maintenance, and compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; AZ or DZ license preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management software for tracking and reporting.
• Willingness to travel to the United States and availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and after-hours phone coverage.

• Roll-off or lugger experience.
