Manager, Student Finance (Student Finance): Leading student finance and accounts receivable operations for healthcare education programs with an accent on team leadership, financial aid compliance, and service quality. Location: Lisle, Illinois, USA. Hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday through Thursday.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year, adjusted based on experience, training, location, licensure, certifications, market factors, budget, and responsibilities.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage the Student Finance team supporting student finance and accounts receivable services.
  • Improve service processes, operational practices, accuracy, timeliness, and student support.
  • Interview candidates, make hiring and promotion decisions, staff the department, and develop colleagues.
  • Manage schedules, service coverage, staffing plans, budgets, reporting, and performance assessments.
  • Resolve escalated student and academic partner concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Communicate financial aid policies and procedures and support reports or projects for accreditation and state approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • At least four years of combined professional experience and prior people management experience.
  • Experience in a service-oriented industry and environment.
  • Experience with budget preparation, financial modeling, and accounting management.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial aid rules, regulations, laws, Title IV, and Student Finance procedures.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, organization, interpersonal communication, presentation, and decision-making skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial aid software.
