Analytical Lab Co-Op (Semiconductor Materials)

Location: Austin, TX; assignment at the Burnet, TX site

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on overall skills and fit for the role.

What you will do

• Conduct analytical testing and characterization of semiconductor materials.
• Prepare samples and analyze and report laboratory data.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Support laboratory quality systems, safety practices, and contamination-control processes.
• Participate in laboratory improvement and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Currently enrolled in a university program and familiar with the university requirements for co-op participation.
• Available to work full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from January through June.
• Eligible to participate in a six-month co-op during the Spring 2027 season.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.
