Physical Analysis Lab Intern (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Operate a broad range of analytical instrumentation and techniques, including ICP-MS, HPLC, HPIC, TOC, GC, Raman, XRF, titration analysis, and cyclic voltammetry.
• Maintain quality control over manufacturing chemicals and monitor contamination on wafers and in the ambient environment.
• Assist with investigations to identify root causes of observed failures.
• Work in both wet-lab and cleanroom laboratory environments.
• Handle extremely hazardous chemicals while following safety practices.
• Manage daily workload independently with limited supervision and support from experienced engineers and chemists.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry or Materials Science.
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the summer internship term.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, dependability, and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain a strong focus on safety.
• Flexibility for shifts and working hours.
• Must be able to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
