Quality Inspector-Weekends

Location: Anoka, MN, US; onsite

Salary: $17.20–$31.90 per hour

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive product inspections using work instructions, checklists, drawings, and defined acceptance criteria.
• Use precision and non-precision gauges, meters, tools, and testing equipment to verify product conformity.
• Identify non-conforming products and initiate Non-Conformance Reports.
• Confirm that no active NCRs remain before completing product inspections.
• Prioritize inspection tasks assigned by Operations Supervisors to meet departmental goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• At least one year of experience in quality processes; experience with Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Experience with precision metal fabrication measurement tools and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, paint mil gauges, hardness testers, CMMs, measuring tables, optical comparators, and functional testers.
• Ability to interpret and apply Quality System and ISO procedures, organize workload, communicate across functions, and work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform basic math and geometry, and use Microsoft Office applications.
