TL;DR

Location: Onsite at Ardent - Hillcrest Pryor in Pryor, Oklahoma; applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. Shift: PRN / mid shift, 10 a.m.–10 p.m., rotating weekends; ER shift, 7 a.m.–7 p.m., rotating weekends.

Salary: $17.00–$18.15 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

  • Perform admitting and patient access duties for hospital patients.
  • Assign accurate medical record numbers, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, and process physician orders.
  • Collect demographic, insurance, and financial information, including point-of-service collections, past-due balances, and payment plans.
  • Explain and obtain signatures for treatment consents, Medicare and Tricare notices, observation forms, and other patient documents.
  • Review insurance eligibility and benefit data, select insurance plan codes, and support clean claim and billing processes.
  • Audit accounts, correct errors, maintain documentation, and provide statistical data to Patient Access leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire; certification is company-paid.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Pryor, Oklahoma.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Demonstrated inquisitiveness and openness to innovation, including AI.
