Mechanical Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Chicago, IL – 100% on-site

What you will do

• Apply mechanical engineering concepts to real engineering projects.
• Work with engineer mentors on the design team.
• Take ownership of portions of various projects.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and learn how complete design packages are developed.
• Develop time-management, communication, and CAD drafting skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at a four-year ABET-accredited university or college.
• Preferred graduation within one year; candidates graduating within two years may also be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage academic and work responsibilities simultaneously.
