Program Manager - Capital Markets (FSI)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid with a strong expectation of in-office collaboration

What you will do

• Lead complex regulatory and strategic transformation programs across Capital Markets.
• Build relationships with business, functional, technology, vendor, and external stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional working groups, facilitate decisions, resolve issues, and manage program interdependencies.
• Prepare status reports, governance materials, executive presentations, and steering committee updates.
• Maintain project plans covering deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, escalations, and decisions.
• Guide junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of program management experience with demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and delivery capabilities.
• Experience leading or supporting large-scale regulatory programs and understanding Capital Markets products, services, and processes.
• Strong program governance and project management skills, including management of milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working-team and executive audiences.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups; strong PowerPoint and Visio or similar process-flow skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or another relevant project or program management designation.
• Experience in consulting, financial services, or large enterprise transformation environments.
• Exposure to regulatory change, remediation, governance, or risk transformation programs.
