Technical Architect Sr (Cloud)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto at 483 Bay Street, relocating to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in approximately late 2026.

Salary: CAD 123,000–158,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Define and advance enterprise cloud architecture standards, reference models, principles, and technology solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant AWS and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Develop cloud architecture patterns covering networking, security, identity and access management, automation, resiliency, governance, and operational excellence.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI/ML frameworks, data ingestion pipelines, system integrations, transformations, and migrations.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams on GenAI/LLM integration, AI-enabled automation, analytics, and MLOps.
• Lead long-term enterprise technology planning, architecture documentation, training, and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Cloud Architect.
• Strong expertise in AWS, including EC2, VPC, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, Bedrock, and AWS Organizations.
• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, developer self-service, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and DevOps practices.
• Experience designing cloud networking architectures, hybrid integrations, multi-region connectivity, traffic management, network security, high availability, and on-premises-to-cloud migrations.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, cloud automation, GitOps, cloud security, Zero Trust principles, encryption, resiliency, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance, and enterprise architecture management platforms; LeanIX is preferred.
