Electrical Test Supervisor (Satellites)

Location: San Francisco, United States. The role requires U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or qualifying refugee/asylee status under U.S. space technology export regulations. Availability for all shifts and weekends may be required to support 24/7 integration and test campaigns.

Base salary: $140,000–$185,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and develop electrical test specialists and technicians through mentorship, oversight, and professional development.
• Manage production-floor test operations, workloads, weekly goals, schedules, and shift leadership.
• Serve as the primary test point of contact and communicate or escalate blockers across functions.
• Coordinate specialist training and onboard new team members in daily test operations.
• Support firefighting, issue resolution, and the maintenance of specialist work areas.
• Lead hardware and software projects that streamline satellite production.

Requirements

• Two years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline, or four years of equivalent technical experience.
• Experience testing and debugging complex electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
• Demonstrated peer leadership and experience training others.
• Experience implementing processes that improve software, hardware, debugging, and safety practices.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or qualifying protected individual status required; willingness to work all shifts and weekends as needed.
