Technology Risk Consulting Associate (Technology Risk)

Location: Irvine, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required

Salary: $70,400–$84,000 per year

What you will do

• Understand clients’ business operations, industries, accounting and control systems, technology environments, and organizational values.
• Assist with the design and optimization of business, accounting, and information technology controls.
• Identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications, and develop appropriate conclusions and recommendations.
• Create internal control documentation supporting client engagements.
• Engage with client leadership on strategies for anticipating emerging technology risks.
• Support SOX and regulatory compliance engagements, SOC reporting, IT controls testing, technical IT controls reviews, and internal audits of ERP and IT security systems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university, with expected completion by December 2026 or June 2027.
• Major in accounting, information systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification or progress toward certification is preferred but not required.
