Process Risk and Controls Consulting Intern (Risk Consulting)

Location: Irvine, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required

What you will do

• Support consulting projects and participate in client meetings with various management levels.
• Assist with internal audits, SOX and compliance work, and financial reporting control projects.
• Prepare reports, document findings, and discuss results and recommendations with clients.
• Analyze client information and document results using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Complete client projects according to project timelines and critical dates.
• Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.

Requirements

• Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. degree at an accredited university, with expected completion by December 2027 or June 2028.
• Accounting, Finance, or Data & Analytics major preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Must have access to and be able to arrange reliable transportation to assigned client locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computer, multitasking, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively on a team with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
