What you will do

  • Ensure payroll data interfaces correctly into payroll systems before processing deadlines.
  • Perform pre-payroll checks, controls, variance analysis, reconciliations, payments, and payroll reporting.
  • Support multi-country payroll operations for the Americas in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate payroll activities with third-party providers and support testing, data management, documentation, and system upgrades.
  • Resolve payroll inquiries and contribute to incident management, continuous improvement, automation, and cross-functional projects.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation while supporting SOX, internal controls, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll or HR operations, preferably supporting the Americas region.
  • Knowledge of US payroll processing, regulations, vendors, and leading third-party providers such as ADP, NGA, or SD Worx.
  • Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with payroll reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, SOX compliance, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, confidentiality, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Payroll certification such as CPP or FPC.
  • Experience with deployment or implementation projects.
  • Experience in a multinational company or Finance/HR Shared Services environment.
  • Experience with e-Time, Kronos, Salesforce Service Cloud, SAP, or Workday.
  • Knowledge of desktop procedures, knowledge management artifacts, and responsible AI practices.
