CPA Accountant (Colombia)

What you will do

• Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
• Analyze transactions, prepare monthly and annual balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow reports, and support financial analysis.
• Participate in payroll by tracking, entering, and allocating employee hours.
• Conduct detailed audits, reconcile ledgers, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Support revenue forecasting, profit-margin analysis, budgeting, and tax reporting.
• Brief management on the company’s financial position and recommend improvements to accounting policies and processes.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification and at least 5 years of experience as a certified accountant, CPA, or Senior Accountant.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience with accounting software; QuickBooks and Zoho are advantageous.
• Excellent English proficiency, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information and stay current with accounting and tax regulations.
