Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Fintech) Colombia

What you will do

• Execute the daily regulatory reporting cycle by verifying automated pipeline runs and reviewing generated files for structural and functional consistency.
• Coordinate functional validation with report owners across Treasury, Accounting, Financial Risk, Compliance, Product, and other business areas.
• Support regulatory submissions, including signature coordination, transmission through official channels, and retrieval and filing of CIDT confirmations.
• Monitor data-quality and pipeline alerts, investigate inconsistencies, and coordinate follow-up with data owners and the technology team.
• Support root-cause analysis, corrections, controlled retransmissions, and responses to regulator rejections.
• Maintain validation tools and participate in UAT and the analysis of new regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial information, financial risk, accounting, or data analysis.
• Hands-on knowledge of regulatory formats, flat-file structures, and technical specifications issued by the SFC or another regulator.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and control or reconciliation workbooks.
• Intermediate SQL skills for querying, filtering, and cross-checking data from a data warehouse.
• Fluent English and Spanish are required. Knowledge of CBF, CBJ, CUIF, and accounting or financial regulatory formats is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with XBRL and the SFC transmission platform.
• Experience in a financial institution supervised by the SFC or in an audit or consulting firm serving the financial sector.
