Maintenance Technician - Equipment Maintenance

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global campus in Pella, Iowa, USA. Third-shift schedule; no travel expected.

What you will do

• Perform and accurately record scheduled preventive maintenance on hoists, paint systems, machining centers, weld systems, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment issues.
• Use the Thrive maintenance data system to document work and maintain accurate records.
• Work with mentors, peers, internal customers, managers, and experienced maintenance technicians to support production.
• Follow safety protocols as an authorized Lockout/Tagout team member and, when applicable, as an electrically qualified team member.

Requirements

• High school diploma or HiSET plus at least two years of basic trades or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use or learn to use hand tools, power tools, and voltmeters; read blueprints and electrical schematics; write interdepartmental communications; and apply basic mathematics.
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to use Thrive, obtain Lockout/Tagout authorization, and become certified as an electrically qualified team member.
• Continuous standing and frequent sitting, walking, and hands-on work are required, with occasional climbing, elevated work, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting.
