Web Services Librarian (Associate) (Springshare)

Location: On-site at the College Station, Texas campus, United States

Salary: $72,335 annually, plus a $3,000 professional development allowance. Proposed minimum salary: $6,027.92 monthly.

What you will do

• Lead the strategic assessment, enhancement, and administration of Springshare services and library web platforms.
• Ensure quality assurance, accessibility compliance, and reliable systems support across library applications.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and user support for library applications and web tools.
• Collaborate with Technology Services, Discovery Systems, User Experience, and campus partners on digital services and web projects.
• Support projects through requirements gathering, implementation, deployment, documentation, and reporting.
• Collect and analyze usage data with LibInsights, Google Analytics, and APIs; develop dashboards and documentation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience.
• Experience administering Springshare applications such as LibGuides, LibCal, or LibAnswers.
• Experience with website and application quality assurance and content management systems such as Cascade, WordPress, or SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, APIs, web accessibility standards including WCAG, Section 508, and ADA requirements.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site at the College Station campus.
