Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Native, React/Node.js)

Location: Kennesaw, Georgia, USA; hybrid role with travel to St. Louis or Atlanta for up to one week per quarter

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and implement highly available cloud-native solutions using infrastructure as code.
• Use serverless computing on Microsoft Azure to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Build TypeScript applications with React frontend and NestJS backend components.
• Develop automated unit and behavioral tests and implement production code with security and rollback practices.
• Create APIs and protocols integrating websites, third-party partners, mobile applications, and IoT devices.
• Participate in product support, including independent on-call responsibilities and collaboration with business and product teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience with exposure to multiple programming languages.
• Experience developing and deploying software on a major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience automating software development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and communicating complex technical topics effectively.
• Experience shipping at least one commercially used software product and understanding agile development and pair programming.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping multiple commercialized products or products across multiple major cloud providers.
• Background in customer support or data science.
• Experience with functional programming languages.
