Site Quality Manager (Yerington, NV)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Yerington, Nevada, with frequent travel to remote project locations

Salary: $105,795–$132,244 per year

Infrastructure services provider designing, building, and maintaining utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high-voltage substation projects.

What you will do

• Implement and manage the Site-Specific Quality Plan and enforce Quality Management System standards.
• Develop Inspection Test Plans and conduct inspections, process audits, and documentation audits across civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and manage nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, test results, nonconformance reports, and quality metrics.
• Review subcontractor quality plans, audit their work, and verify that materials and equipment meet specifications.
• Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and support continuous improvement with engineering and procurement teams.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in utility-scale solar quality management.
• In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or Primavera P6 and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to travel frequently and work onsite at remote project locations for extended periods.

• ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma certification.
