Lead Sales (Full-Time)

Location: American Girl Retail Chicago, 835 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, Illinois; onsite role with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Support the retail sales manager with merchandise management, business analysis, and staff development.
• Lead daily sales-floor operations, including visual standards, stock monitoring, scheduling, and floor coverage.
• Coach, motivate, and develop staff while delegating responsibilities to improve workflow and skills.
• Track sales performance, analyze results, and help the team meet or exceed sales goals.
• Deliver engaging customer service and oversee the sales floor as Manager on Duty.
• Resolve customer service concerns and help maintain an excellent guest experience.

Requirements

• Customer service experience; lead or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with a broad and diverse workforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Warm, friendly demeanor and enjoyment of working with children.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicago on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
