R&D Design Intern (Healthcare)

Salary: $23.25–$33.75 per hour

What you will do

• Contribute to new product development projects assigned by management.
• Work with full-time engineers and product divisions on multiple R&D projects.
• Support the development of medical products from the ground up.
• Research competitors and evaluate new product features and designs.
• Review and submit intellectual property materials.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key design aspects of device projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing an engineering degree, preferably in mechanical engineering.
• Junior standing in an undergraduate program and a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with product development, prototype fabrication, and design projects is preferred.
• Unrestricted permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• App development or programming skills.
