Operations Supervisor Receiving (Warehouse)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, USA; onsite warehouse role with availability from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, train, and counsel warehouse associates in the receiving area.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, current Good Distribution Practices, and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Supervise workflow and variable workloads while maintaining productivity and zero-defect performance.
• Investigate and resolve operational problems and implement approved process improvements with Operations Managers.
• Enforce safety requirements, prepare incident reports, and coordinate required post-incident urinalysis.
• Respond to client requests and complete assigned operational projects.

Requirements

• English communication skills required.
• 1–5 years of leadership experience in a 3PL or warehouse environment.
• Receiving or warehouse experience, with 2–3 years preferred for receiving operations.
• Strong communication, reasoning, problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other power equipment in a confined warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand or walk for at least 80% of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• College degree or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, cost-saving initiatives, production scheduling, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, product implementation, or launches.
• Experience with WMS platforms such as AS400, MARC, Manhattan, SAP, or Red Prairie.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Outlook.
