Supervisor, Warehouse - SDF (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage incoming materials, outgoing shipments, and material movements between the warehouse and production.
• Coordinate shipment schedules with couriers and transportation providers.
• Maintain and develop shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures in accordance with cGMP requirements.
• Track department metrics, improve processes, and implement corporate initiatives and cLEAN® principles.
• Supervise shipping and receiving personnel, including development, performance reviews, and resource allocation.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders while supporting production and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; an associate degree with 5 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED with 7 years may be considered.
• At least 3 years of shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP.
• Ability to move equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds, perform precision hand work, and occasionally work at heights or around hazardous materials.
• Ability to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Durham, North Carolina.

Nice to have

• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Project management, import/export, database management, or action-plan development experience.
• Process improvement, Green Belt, Kanban, Lean manufacturing, cGMP, or FDA regulation knowledge.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
