SEC Reporting Analyst

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze the company’s SEC financial statements, management reports, and related disclosures.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting footnotes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate reporting requirements, deliverables, and deadlines with internal departments and stakeholders.
• Research and resolve variances and inconsistencies in financial information using accounting techniques.
• Research and interpret SEC and US GAAP disclosure guidance and perform analytics on financial statements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting, SEC reporting in the insurance industry, or relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from research and report findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Completion of or interest in obtaining CPA and/or FLMI designations preferred.
