Credit Analyst Intern

What you will do

• Analyze businesses across a variety of industries and evaluate their creditworthiness.
• Review economic conditions and financial situations when assessing applications.
• Analyze and make decisions on 10–15 credit applications per day.
• Make decisions on extending credit for equipment financing applications.
• Collaborate with sales, account support, documentation, and credit functions to serve customers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent analytical ability and the capacity to process information quickly.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to make individual decisions, exercise sound judgment, solve problems, research information, and work under pressure.

Nice to have

• Understanding of finance and financial statements.
