HLC Analyst I (Credit)

Location: Dallas, TX; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Monitor aspects of the regional bank business loan portfolio.
• Review and analyze financial statements, spreads, borrowing bases, covenant compliance, and waiver requests.
• Manage assigned covenant and borrowing base violations.
• Work with regional bankers, underwriting, regional credit officers, and the Financial Recovery Group on customer creditworthiness and loan compliance.
• Develop business credit and underwriting skills through training in financial analysis, credit policy, financial ratios, procedures, and business writing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Internship experience in a business or commercial-related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
• Ability to work independently on multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or business/data analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet resources.
• Customer service excellence and a motivated, focused, goal-oriented approach.
