Credit Analyst Intern - Summer 2027

What you will do

• Review credit applications and support recommendations for appropriate customer credit lines.
• Analyze financial statements, business credit reports, bank references, and trade references.
• Assess producer risk using commodity-market analysis, profitability metrics, DSO, and past-due reporting.
• Provide credit and payment options to the commercial team based on transaction facts and circumstances.
• Maintain accurate account information and respond to customer credit and collection inquiries.
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Transportation teams while maintaining professional internal and external relationships.

Requirements

• Sophomore or junior student pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with an interest in data analysis.
• Customer-service mindset with strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, and creative skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with integrity and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
