Automation & Process Control Engineer (MT)

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for process control programs in pad manufacturing.
• Collaborate with process and technical teams to adopt effective control technologies and best practices.
• Implement system enhancements that improve yield, product quality, equipment uptime, and manufacturing capacity.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex process control and automation issues.
• Prepare engineering data and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams on capital improvement projects.
• Develop test plans and support commissioning, decommissioning, startup, and shutdown activities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor or panel industry.
• Master’s degree in engineering; electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Experience with AB PLC or Siemens PLC is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment or process program issues.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects and work effectively in self-managed and team environments.
• Good English communication skills required; business travel may be possible.

Nice to have

• Robot tuning experience with UR, AB, or KUKA robots.
• Project leadership experience.
• Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
