Senior Product Manager – Private Funds (Front Office)

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the development backlog for Fund Research and Fund Analytics in Aha!/JIRA.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow requirements, and testable business specifications.
• Partner with engineering during Agile ceremonies, clarify private funds domain questions, review edge cases, and unblock delivery.
• Test delivered features with realistic fund and portfolio scenarios and coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders and clients.
• Support client onboarding, product training, adoption, and issue resolution with Client Services and Support.
• Demonstrate product capabilities to prospects and support Sales with product walkthroughs and capability Q&A.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar delivery-focused role in financial technology.
• Strong knowledge of private fund structures, GP/LP dynamics, master/feeder hierarchies, capital accounts, NAV, and capital calls and distributions.
• Front-office experience with performance measurement, cash-flow analysis, portfolio monitoring, fund research, or manager due diligence.
• Hands-on Agile delivery experience, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies using Aha!, JIRA, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with private markets data and analytics platforms such as Burgiss Private i, MSCI/Caissa, Chronograph, Backstop, or Dynamo Software.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and software testing skills across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Client Services.
