Forward Deployed Strategist (AI)

Location: San Francisco or New York, United States; on-site

hirify.global builds an AI data platform for inference, combining high-performance infrastructure with developer-focused tools that run inside customers’ own clouds.

What you will do

• Run technical discovery of customer architectures, production systems, constraints, and delivery goals.
• Advise engineering teams on architecture, migration paths, sequencing, reliability, and technical trade-offs.
• Design hirify.global integrations and agentic solutions with clear standards for correctness, latency, cost, evaluation, and safe operation.
• Scope and execute focused proofs of concept, defining success criteria and preventing scope drift.
• Partner with sales, delivery engineers, account management, and support to maintain coherent technical direction across accounts.
• Bring customer insights back to product and engineering and advocate for high-impact changes.

Requirements

• Production infrastructure experience and a strong understanding of how live systems fail.
• Experience advising engineering teams on systems that were not personally built.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including building prototypes, reference implementations, and reading customer codebases.
• Ability to scope meaningful POCs and make clear technical judgments, including rejecting unsuitable approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, storytelling, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying software into a customer’s own cloud.
• Experience operating AI agents reliably against production systems and data.
• Domain expertise in fraud, payments, underwriting, identity, recommendations, pricing, or logistics.
• Rust or C++ experience.
