Lead Consultant - ASPICE (Automotive)

Location: Mexico; hybrid or remote work with 50% travel to client locations across the Americas

What you will do

• Lead ASPICE assessments and process improvement initiatives for automotive clients.
• Develop strategic improvement plans, address assessment gaps, and enhance client capabilities.
• Coach client teams on ASPICE practices, process optimization, quality management, and continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver training on ASPICE principles, processes, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with software development, project management, and quality assurance teams to integrate ASPICE into client operations.
• Lead client programs, define Statements of Work and proposals, provide estimates, and support business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. A master’s degree is preferred.
• intacs™ Provisional Assessor certification required; Competent Assessor certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience with the ASPICE model and successful ASPICE implementation or improvement projects.
• Knowledge of software and systems engineering processes, quality management systems, and the automotive development lifecycle.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with willingness to travel to client sites 50%.
• Must be based in Mexico for the hybrid/remote arrangement and travel to client locations across the Americas.

Nice to have

• intacs™ Provisional Instructor certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and their integration with ASPICE.
• Automotive safety experience and knowledge of HARA, HIRE, FTA, FMEA, FMEDA, and STPA.
• Experience with ISO 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, ISO 21434, ISO 24089, ISA/IEC 62443, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
• Experience with Cybersecurity Management Systems, automotive cybersecurity risk management, incident response, monitoring, and vehicle software update campaigns.
