Senior Operations Accountant (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Denver, CO, United States; on-site

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year plus bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.

What you will do

• Own the accounting cycle for assigned AI data center development projects and operating sites.
• Maintain construction-in-progress schedules, capitalize and allocate project costs, and transfer completed assets to fixed assets.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with development, construction, site operations, and FP&A teams to review invoices, change orders, budgets, and cost variances.
• Apply ASC 842 to ground leases, power agreements, and other real estate contracts.
• Prepare project- and site-level reporting packages and execute SOX-relevant controls while supporting audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or data center operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction-in-progress accounting, fixed assets, and ASC 842.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain accounting treatments and variances to operational partners.
• Comfort with large ERP environments, advanced Excel, and project-cost tracking tools.

Nice to have

• CPA designation.
• Master's degree.
• Public and private accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to own work streams end-to-end with limited supervision.
