Product Adoption Manager

Location: Remote based in the United States; 10–20% travel to customer sites is required.

Annual base salary: $120,000–$135,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Own adoption across the OpenCounter customer lifecycle, from launch and staff training through ongoing usage and renewal preparation.
• Launch new agencies, publish and promote Permit Guides, close training gaps, and build internal customer champions.
• Re-engage recently launched agencies and monitor mature accounts for usage signals, renewal risk, and opportunities to reinforce product value.
• Review upcoming product changes from agency staff and resident perspectives, identifying usability, training, support, and design concerns before release.
• Bring field observations and adoption data into the product roadmap and partner with Product Marketing on enablement materials.
• Track launch cohorts, adoption signals, customer satisfaction, and retention outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years taking government or enterprise SaaS customers live and through adoption in professional services, implementation, training, solution consulting, or customer success.
• Exceptional training and facilitation skills, including designing materials, engaging mixed agency audiences, assessing learning, and developing internal champions.
• Experience driving voluntary product or process adoption and launching a new product or module into an existing customer base.
• Experience working inside a city, county, or state agency, with strong knowledge of municipal permitting, planning, or licensing.
• Ability to use product and usage data to assess adoption, explain trends, diagnose launch barriers, and evaluate public access to Permit Guides.

Nice to have

• Customer support or QA experience, including distinguishing defects, configuration gaps, and training gaps.
• Experience configuring or administering permitting, licensing, or land management systems.
• Familiarity with hirify.global Civic Platform, Public Portal, or ACA and related guidance-to-system handoffs.
• Experience driving adoption of an AI-enabled product.
• Ability to translate agency usage data into executive recommendations and renewal-supporting outcomes.
